After spending years practicing as a board-certified urologist, Eugene C. Rajaratnam, MD, discovered anti-aging medicine in 2007. He began training in holistic, whole-body restoration medicine that led to the foundation of the California Wellness Institute, located in Los Angeles and Rancho Mirage, California.
Dr. Rajaratnam earned his medical degree at Stanley Medical College in Chennai, India. He moved to New York City and served his internship at Coney Island Hospital and his surgical and urological residency at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn.
Dr. Rajaratnam undertook additional training in anti-aging medicine at the Cenegenics Medical Institute in Las Vegas. Since 2007, he has achieved board-certification in anti-aging and regenerative medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
Outside of his practice, Dr. Rajaratnam focuses on the Rajaratnam Foundation, a nonprofit that focuses on helping underprivileged children in the Antelope Valley achieve their dreams. He is also an avid pilot and photographer. He’s also currently working on a “Life and How to Live It’ health and wellness television program.
